Our program has been designed to build strength and coordination at a young age giving children a physical developmental advantage. Learning to work with teammates helps develop social skills. The earlier a child can start teaching their bodies the correct form for kicking and passing, the better chance they will have to develop advanced abilities. Also teaching the joys of exercise and team sports can help them learn habits that will keep them healthier and happier in the future.
Our curriculum was designed by soccer trainers (http://boggsbarrett.com)to ensure that your child not only enjoys coming to our classes, but also is learning the fundamental skills required of the sport. Our trainers are chosen carefully on their personality and energy to keep your child interested in each and every activity.
Ages 5 - 6
Participants will learn the fundamental skills of soccer, including dribbling, passing, shooting and defending. Players will be taught through structured activities, fun games, and scrimmages. Our soccer experts and child development professionals have designed an innovative curriculum that introduces your young soccer stars to the basic skills needed in soccer as well as developing their motor, social, and psychological skills. Our trainers are experts at working with young children and will combine soccer with fun games; stories and music that keeps your children entertained and enthused to return next week.
Ages 7 - 8
Participants will learn the principles of soccer, including defending and passing, and will be encouraged to apply these skills to game scenarios. All of our trainers create an environment which allows players to develop and progress within the sport. The program provides a positive learning experience for all players, concentrates on the growth of the individual within the team structure and emphasizes development of technical skills and tactical awareness. It is our belief that teaching players is the priority for long term success and will foster more advanced understanding of the elements necessary to achieve that success. We give players the "freedom to succeed" without the "fear of failure" by encouraging them to take ownership of their decisions in training's and games, even at these young ages. This method guarantees that players will develop more confidence and self-esteem but more importantly, ensures fun and enjoyment for the game of soccer.
